Duathlon di Roma 5 dicembre 2010 - Sono uno stronzo!

ascolto consigliato: "Fever" Starsailor

Silenzio.
Passano 10 secondi, davvero, 10 secondi di silenzio.
"Sei uno stronzo!" mi dice mio padre
"Io ti dovrei sputare in faccia" questa è mia madre.
Mia moglie mi guarda incredula su come io possa divertirmi a farli incazzare così.

Rome Duathlon December 5th 2010 - I'm an asshole!

I come from a troubled week and they are not trained very well, as well as sermons from an even more unpleasant for my mother and father, regardless of the season, race, temperature and conditions, remind me that I stay with my wife and children, which shows all of my immaturity and I went to fuck co 'I'm cold (yes, even in August).
Yesterday I was fine and I decide to participate in my first duathlon (for charity for the children of the Infant Jesus).
However, since Saturday I was fine, not a week I could finish well enough shit, so I slept very badly last night waking up every hour with retching.
I wake up this morning and decided to go.
There is a beautiful sun outside the window, too bad it does not heat at all (3rd) and a layer of ice covering the backyard.
I can not eat anything, I barely goes a bit 'of the mouth.
Arriving safely at the start.
I called my father telling me that they have invested in Calabria deadly 7 cyclists.
Peace to them, but I got to do that?
At the start, we are very few, 21, and I'm afraid to go last.
It 's a promotional competition, lack of judges, and also controls several baths, but if the savings is for the Charity may be fine.
I am an extension of heating and the stomach turns around and wants to throw it all out.
Mmmm ...
Oh well try.
It 's a 2km circuit to do 8 times in all. 2 laps, 5 and 1 of bike racing.
The first lap was ok, I feel my stomach in turmoil but I can live with.
The second time I put vomit in my throat.
Arrival at the transition area and do all things with a deliberately exaggerated slowness, then I know with my Skywalker recover some positions. In fact, get some 'people and take my first ritmo.Alla down I feel the sweat freezing on his back. It is ok, the next time I organize myself better.
I'm beginning to feel bad and I think I retire, then I think "what the hell we came to know is," and decided to go quietly.
I go regularly and are ready for the final round on foot, always with the stomach in an uproar.
During the last lap of a young staff shrieking "but you're the last one?" The answer is that they are scarce, but not to this extent.
Cutting the line in 52'31 "14 °.
Just enough time to make compliments to George, who won the race and I'm going home, prey to spasms of cold, in a car with tropical temperatures.
I get home and I measure the temperature: 39 degrees!
Finally, as my father and my mother will be happy and can say the long-awaited "I told you so."
I call them on the phone with a big smile, "Mom, please bring daddy on the phone ... ok ... so I'm 39 with fever"
Silence.
They spend 10 seconds, really, 10 seconds of silence.
"You're an asshole!" My father tells me
"I should spit in your face" this is my mother.
My wife looks at me in disbelief on how I can make them fun to mess with that.
But in a shitty day so, not at least take away this pleasure!
